More than any other professional sport, the tradition of baseball goes hand-in-hand (or bat-in-hand in this photo) with father-son bonding.

No matter how many time I see Field of Dreams, I get teary-eyed when Kevin Kostner says, "John -- Dad -- do you want to have a catch?"

It brings back those magical moments when my late Father and I connected.
