Even though I haven't seen Wells play yet, I'm still going with him. I think he should our starter opening day as long as he doesn't play horribly in camp/preseason. I've never been a big fan of TH, I hated seeing him play > Edge. I think Wells brings more to the table and has more tools in being a succesful RB. Both pretty much have an equal chance at being our #1 guy.

Wells will probably will the poll, but both really do have a shot

I think you have to assume a guy drafted in the first round is the player of the future even if you like the Hightower. In all honesty, I hope the answer is both. I hope Hightower develops enough that he and Wells can legitimately split carries evenly like Jones-Drew and Fred Taylor did for the past 4 years.

I hope Wells turns out to be by far the best RB of the two, but I also hope Hightower improves enough to be a great one two punch.

Hightower might start off with the job, but I'll be shocked if Beanie isn't the starter 5-6 games in barring any injury or just completely underwhelming play.

I agree I hope Wells turns out to be our starter and runs close to a 1000 yards this year, I like Hightower and he brings a lot to the team and having a nice duo package of Beanie and Hightower will be great. IF beanie plays like he did in college for us we are going to have one hell of a offense this year :). GO CARDS

That really depends on how durable Beanie Wells is. And right now that is unknowable.

If your going to continue to make these ridiculous polls could you atleast have the common courtesy to make them public?

Wells is going to keep alive the long Cardinal tradition of their first round running backs having successful NFL careers.

Only one bust in 50 years and every one of the others was selected to at least one pro-bowl.

Go Beanie!

Big BQ!
I love TH and his high intensity, hard running style.. when it was first compared to Marion Barber, I thought noway, but after last season and some of the hard running I saw, hecan definitely teach Beanie some things; but in the end, superior talent wins out... plus that stiffarm
