He'll probably end up in Washington. As much as I like him I know in my heart we will not blow our salary structure out of proportion to sign him. Heck he will probbaly get more than Edge.
It will be interesting to see how Whisenhunt attacks this off season. Rolle being drafted that high SHOULD be our #1 cb, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
I guess we will find out about Rolle and a lot of players on this squad in the next 3 months.
As someone said in this post, a great pass rush will make your cb's look a lot better.

With a new coach we might have a chance at getting some FA's but they won't be big names IMO.

The amount of cap space out there is just astonishing, there's no way to even overbid for a guy, any truly decent player "see Big" just hit the lottery.

CB's are going to cost a king's ransom as will LT's so my advice is to avoid them if possible and draft those.

I don't honestly know who we can get with the cap room out there, it's going to be really tough.

I think that signing CBs in FA is the best option. The free agent CBs that get a lot of money have taken their lumps and if you are a successful CB on one team, that will probably translate to your new team, it's just the nature of the position. If youm draft a CB, that guy IS going to struggle more often than not. If we draft a CB to start, that will just put us back where we have been. This year was an exception with Cromartie, Joseph, and Marshall, rookie CBS for the most part do not perform well.

Also, this year's crop of CBs is not exactly mind-blowing at the top. (Although I do think there is good depth.) Had Rolle been in this draft he'd be #1 on most CB lists. That should encourage us to try really hard to land a vet before the draft.
