CBUSCardsfan cleaned up over the weekend, topping all other entries in three out of the four categories - (1) Matching Player to Team, (2) Matching Player to Draft Slot and (3) Most Correct Cardinal Picks.
Congratulations to following winners:

1. Most players accurately predicted as being selected in first round: Tie - Bach 28 and California Card 28

2. Most accurate 1st round matchups - team to player - CBUSCardsFan 8

3. Most accurate 1st round matchups- draft slot to player: Tie -CBUSCardsFan 10 and Keruac 10

4. Most matchups - Players to Cardinal Picks - all 7 rounds: CBUSCardsFan 3

We're not sure which prizes (if any) exist in the ASFN sack of goodies - or how many. So we will just list the top winners for now, rather than any runners up, third place finishers, honorable mentions etc. To break the two ties if necessary, ASFN will do a random-drawing (right Skkorp?) and announce the awarding of any prizes.

Complete Score Sheet (including scores for major media guru-types) is posted on the BRS.

Comparing ourselves to the national media "experts" - our winners beat them in 2 of the 3 first round categories and tied the Star Ledger and Scouts, Inc. in the number of players accurately predicted to go in the first round.

I think we all did dang good!

I think a "one award per entry" rule ought to apply. Ties ought to go to the person who hasn't won another category.

I express no self-interest in this idea. ;)

So whats most pathetic attempt get me?
Let me tell you something , Stretch. Compared to the general degree of sophistication regarding the draft (or lack thereof) that you'd see 3 - 5 years ago, the has been a quantum improvement in football knowledge by everyone who entered and that includes you.

To put it another way, our "most pathetic" entry this year would be better than most winning entries a few years ago. So feel proud.

As Harry observed on the thread he initiated, the people on this board have come a long, long way in a fairly short time.

I disagree (also without self-interest). If someone kicked enough ass to win more than one category, they ought to get rewarded accordingly.

When'd you go commie on us, K9? ;)
