This could be a lot of fun...try it out.

Using the Value Ratings of The Huddle Report (if you haven't subscribed there it's well worth the $9.95 annual fee)...

And assuming that the Cardinals could only choose from the players still on The Huddle Report Value Board (200 players), who would you choose at #16, #50, #81, #115 (approx.), #152 (app.) and #190 (app)?

Here are some of the notable choices:

#16:

CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie (Tenn. St.)
LB Dan Connor (Penn. St.)
CB Aqib Talib, Kansas
DE Calais Campbell (Miami)
WR DeSean Jackson (Cal)
RB Felix Jones (Arkansas)

(Note: the RB rankings: McFadden-2; Mendenhall-10, Stewart-11; Jones-27, Jamaal Charles-38; Chris Johnson-38; Ray Rice-53.----thus, the first three are off the board at #16 in this game).

#50

DT Trevor Laws (Notre Dame)
RB Ray Rice (Rutgers)
CB Tracy Porter (Indiana)
OLB/DE Cliff Avril (Purdue)
WR Donny Avery (Houston)
WR Earl Bennett (Vandy)

#81

RB Steve Slaton (WV)
G Roy Schuening (Oregon St.)
RB Mike Hart (Michigan)
CB Patrick Lee (Auburn)
DE Jason Jones (Eastern Michigan)
G Chio Rachal (USC)

#115 (approx.---with potential comp. picks factored in).

G/T Mike McGlynn (Pitt)
LB Jonathan Goff (Vandy)
WR DJ Hall (Alabama)
WR Harry Douglass (Louisville)
CB Terrence Wheatley (Colorado)

#152 (approx.)

WR Dorien Bryant (Purdue)
LB Ben Moffitt (South Florida)
QB Dennis Dixon (Oregon)

#190 (approx.)

QB Kevin O'Connell (San Diego St.)
DE Chase Ortiz (TCU)
CB Antwaun Molden (Eastern Kentucky)
WR Steve Johnson (Kentucky)
WR Marcus Monk (Arkansas)

My picks:

#16 RB Felix Jones (Arkansas)

#50 DT Trevor Laws (Notre Dame)

#81 G Roy Schuening (Oregon St.)

#115 CB Terrence Wheatley (Colorado)

#152 LB Ben Moffitt (South Florida)

#190 DE/OLB Chase Ortiz (TCU)

7th round: The Best WR on the board.

Touch choices, though...I hated to pass up CB Dom Rodgers-Cromartie, but our offense needs an infusion of speed and a homerun threat and Jones is perhaps the best one in this draft.

No way Chilo Rachal is available in the third. If he is still there in the second, that is a no-brainer IMO. He is the most technically sound G in the draft by far IMO.

It would be kinda cool to have the three USC teammates out there together in Leinart, Duece and Rachal.

I don't like the choices given, and I think we'll have better choices, but here's what I think within those constraints:

#16 CB Aqib Talib, Kansas
#50 RB Ray Rice (Rutgers)
#81 G Chio Rachal (USC)
#115 CB Terrence Wheatley (Colorado)
#152 LB Ben Moffitt (South Florida)
#190 (approx.) QB Kevin O'Connell

DRC-will be the best CB
Bennett-very underrated WR
Jones-perfect fit for the Cards
McGlynn-OL depth
Moffett-easy choice out of what's listed
O'connel-Maybe get lucky with a young QB.

Can't claim to have seen a lot of the aforementioned. I am assuming that we'll go for a runner in the first two or three rounds. If that's the case Rice (Rutgers) would be a nice choice in round two. I don't have much more to add since I don't have an idea about what the scouts are telling Graves. I do suspect that quite a few here will have a problem with our draft (whatever it is) but that's not unusual.
