Bracket 3, #2 seed Bolo Yeung
How He Got Here: Defeated John Saxon 14-8.
Notable Films: Enter The Dragon, Bloodsport, Double Impact, Shootfighter series.
Mini Bio: Impressively built Asian actor with background in weightlifting, bodybuilding and martial arts who has carved a niche for himself as one of the great "bad guys" of Asian martial arts cinema appearing in over 50 movies to date. Usually found menacing the hero, or enforcing the will of some vicious crime lord, Bolo Yeung has appeared alongside Lieh Lo, Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan and Jean-Claude Van Damme. Although much of Bolo's work has been production line "chop socky" low budget martial arts films, he remained in high demand for over 25 years, right through the early boom years of martial arts cinema in the 1970s, and on until the late 1990s. Undoubtedly, a principal on-screen figure in the history of martial arts cinema.
vs.
Bracket 3, #4 seed Michelle Yeoh
How She Got Here: Defeated Christopher Lambert 16-5.
Notable Films: Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Tomorrow Never Dies, Fearless, Supercop series.
Mini Bio: Michelle fought her way to the top in the male-dominated genre of Hong Kong action films, where she has been known for years as the "queen of martial arts". She uses many dance moves in her films. She still does most of her own stunts and has been injured many times. Her first on camera work was a 1984 commercial with martial arts star Jackie Chan. In 1985, she began making action movies with D&B Films of Hong Kong. She was first billed as Michelle Khan, then later, Michelle Yeoh. Never a trained martial artist, she relied on her dance discipline and her on-set trainers to prepare for her martial arts action scenes.
