The Thunder went super small the other day. No player taller than 6'6" in their starting 5.

SGA - 6'6"
Dort - 6'3"
Jalen Williams -6'5"
Isaiah Joe - 6'4"
Cason Wallace - 6'4"

Their tallest starter was their PG. Ousmane Dieng is 6'10" and saw 15 minutes. He's pretty thin as well so not a big 6'10" as he's listed as a SF at 216. He's thin like KD. I wouldn't even say he has the bulk of Beal.

Malevy Leon is a 6'9" SF who is the only other player above 6'6" that saw the floor. He saw 3 minutes of garbage time.

It'll be interesting to see what they do against us. That was against New Orleans, who is also really small.

For anyone with interest, here's the box score for the Pelicans vs Thunder game. Unsurprisingly the Thunder were outrebounded 58-31 but they lost by 18 points regardless, 106-88. Shooting percentage wasn't a big difference either, 40% for New Orleans and 44% for OKC. It was 24% to 39% from 3pt range in favor of OKC. So similar outcome to what we just witnessed vs the Kings.

Bradley Beal is listed as OUT for the game with the Thunder as of course is Kevin Durant.

Grayson Allen and Jusuf Nurkic are QUESTIONABLE.

The Thunder are shorthanded as well. Also, they play a small lineup.

Duane Rankin gives his perspective on the Suns NBA injury reports as does Kellan Olson.

Getting Nurk and Grayson back would be a boost. Man. I hope this is not indicative of this season.

im ok without nurk tonight - speed and agility will be needed to compete with okc - oso will make mistakes but so does nurk - but oso also gets down court about 5 minutes faster than nurk does

we've seen oso pass his opponent running down court to get position back on defense - with nurk's slow ass our guards and forwards have to cover the paint AND their man out at the 3 pt line until nurk arrives - and it's been killing us

plus when nurk's out the team seems to better understand we have to rebound as a team - because when we both can't rebound or hit a 3... it doesn't matter how good our defense is

so here it is - and although i seriously doubt it's going to happen - and although i know ill probably get rolled for saying this but - OSO SHOULD START TONIGHT

plumlee is also too slow to compete with this smaller FASTER okc team and it will be obvious from the tip off if my suspicions are correct

start both dunn and oso - that's right i said it - especially against this okc - come at me lol
