Voted for Paul. Seems like the Blazers could use a PG, as Damon is starting to get older and is probably a back up.

Blazers have Sebastian Telfair...

Darius Miles
Zach Randolph
Theo Ratliff

I'm picking a SG, but not sure who yet... Gerald Green has the supposed most potential but I personally like Antoine Wright (who's moving up charts)...

I chose Paul, because I think he will be in the 3rd spot.

However, he will NOT be on the blazers. They have Telfair there already, and don't need 2 undersized PGs. Same deal with the Hawks not taking Williams.

Portland trades down to the #5 spot and takes Gerald Green, letting Charlotte get Paul.

I didn't realize that the ones already picked are not available for selection so I selected "other". I must agree with BbaLL_31 that Paul would be a BPA pick that may not be necessary for Portland.

Sorry, my mistake. I'll sit this one out. But here's the roster:

33 Shareef Abdur-Rahim F 6-9 245 Dec. 11, 1976 California
1 Derek Anderson SG 6-5 195 Jul. 18, 1974 Kentucky
14 Richie Frahm SG 6-5 210 Aug. 14, 1977 Gonzaga
38 Viktor Khryapa SF 6-9 210 Aug. 3, 1982
23 Darius Miles GF 6-9 210 Oct. 9, 1981
25 Travis Outlaw F 6-9 205 Sep. 18, 1984
21 Ruben Patterson SF 6-6 223 Jul. 31, 1975 Cincinnati
10 Joel Przybilla C 7-1 255 Oct. 10, 1979 Minnesota
50 Zach Randolph PF 6-9 253 Jul. 16, 1981 Michigan State
42 Theo Ratliff FC 6-10 235 Apr. 17, 1973 Wyoming
5 Ha Seung-Jin C 7-3 305 Aug. 4, 1985
3 Damon Stoudamire PG 5-10 174 Sep. 3, 1973 Arizona
31 Sebastian Telfair PG 6-0 165 Jun. 9, 1985
19 Nick Van Exel PG 6-1 190 Nov. 27, 1971 Cincinnati

Okay that's what I'm voting for, I just got to remember that at #5 the Blazers will be selecting in that scenario.

The reason for that is to make a consensus mock draft. I was in the same position (with both the 1st and 2nd picks), where I didn't agree. The idea is to just adjust on the fly - kind of like how GMs have to when a player they want is gone.

If you have you own mock that made yourself, you should post it. We usually have a bunch of individual ones on here closer to the draft.

If it comes down to a tie, you can type in this Thread, who'd you like to select... unless Paul is blowing out the others, I will probably do #4 at 1 PM again tomorrow. If I do them at 2 am in the morning (which would probably be better for all involved) to the next day at 2 am (24 hours)... I just can't go falling asleep, because that would set things back. Although with 2-a-days - I will need too regardless.

When you Pick other, you have the option of picking somebody else or if you screwed up, picking who you think will be selection at #3. I will let by, if there was a mistake and you picked wrong guy and TYPE in Thread that you did mistake as well... the only problem is: there could be Trades right before Draft and I really don't want all 30 selections to change their mind? hehe

not so much forgot telfair as much as you HAVE to select the best player. if you have to turn around and trade paul or telfair, then you do it, but you can't skip a player just b/c you already have that position filled.

look at what the cavs did years ago. they smartly selected kj despite having price on the team and they were able to parlay kj and parts (west and corbin) into the pf they desperately needed in nance (accompanied by sanders who was a good role-player for them).

Other.

Trade down to pick Martynas.

I think "Other" means they pick a player that is not on the list. If they trade down, you need to enter the player that gets picked with this pick.

Right?

I voted for Paul because I think he has the most market value when the Blazers trade him. However, I'd take Deron Williams over Paul because I love Deron's defensive skills.

Correct. Welcome to mention the Trade partner or type that teams Trade down in Thread but still make the Pick... I am picking Chris Paul in Graham's Trade down with Bobcats but notice, I still picked Paul.

It's cool, it hasn't effected the Mock Draft so far yet and there's still plenty of votes. Just remember if you're making a Trade down Pick, to make the Pick with the team you Traded down as well... I will be selecting at #5 for the Blazers (the team IMO needs a SG) but that has no effect on Draft.

If there's Trades (in the NBA, not Trade Proposal's) before we get to that selection and it doesn't effect, the previous choices and I know about Trade (I usually only read this board and ESPN Insider and every once a while, look at the Draft sites) I can change the order.

A little late, and I almost forgot but...

#3 selection goes to Chris Paul PG Wake Forest.

Chris Paul PG Wake Forest: Pure PG, pushes the ball, distributes, and can score at any time, top-tier shooter, penetrates well - finishes, will rebound, decent defender at 5'11 size, excellent theft, solid athlete
KEY STATS: PTS 15.3 AST 6.6 3PT PCT .47 - COMPARISON: T. Parker

I did about 40 scouting reports and instead of posting them in 1 long post, if anybody's noticed, I am sending them after selection.
