Heard or read somewhere that they are not going to resign Gary Payton

I could be wrong about that but if that is true... I believe they will go after a PG

A PG seems likely for them. They've got some nice pieces at just about every other position. The Celtics do have a nice team for the future, I think, par Al Jefferson was a very nice pick, and Raef LaFrenz(?) has actually played fairly well for them. The question that may define who or what they go after is whether or not they intend to keep Walker. They are weakest long term at PG, so I would expect them to at least consider Ukic.

The Celtics select Roko Leni-Ukic PG Croatia.

Roko Leni-Ukic PG Croatia: Excellent floor leader, passes well, controls tempo, an International Prospect - so likely to be a shooter (not strength on film years back), excellent size at PG, moves feet on defense and gets in passing lanes, long arms
COMPARISON: M. Jaric
