We are now kicking off the 2nd round of voting! Remember, voting is based on who YOU want the Cardinals to pick, NOT who you think it would be.

For a better understanding of how selections work per round, I will be using a 10 +/- ranking system based on the following website: http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/prospectrankings

I voted for Alex Okafor. That would be a steal in round 2 I think in rounds 1 and 2 we go OL and OLB or pass rusher and then OL in round 2 but I think those two positions will be addressed in rounds 1 and 2. Caradine coming off his torn ACL makes me real nervous in round 2

But I would also be happy with Eddie lacy if they wanted to go offense.

Barrett Jones and Chance Warmack to go along with Massie and Poter last year. Talk about a bright future. Jureki said that if Poter can bulk up, he could be moved to G at some point, so the lineup this year could be, Levi - Colledge - Jones - Warmack - Massie with reserves of Sendlein, Poter, Kelemete and some FA who can backup the OT postion.

Sam Montgomery....the best defender in the Tigers front seven hands down....first round talent that will slip to the second because of a lack of hype and a slip of the tongue

IMO, Jevon Bell is BPA and fills a huge hole for the Cardinals. The Cardinals top 2 RB are injury prone and will not finish out the season. Bell is a 3 down back who had a great career at Michigan State. Plus he is not injury prone.

are all guys I would take before Bell. He's a straight line runner with little wiggle. He trimmed down to run a faster 40 at the combine but he does not play all that fast either.

The way his stock has fallin is a joke. He had 1 bad game in his career. And his 'off the field' issues werent drug or conduct related. Just weird, but not harmful. Its like everyone has forgotten he was 2nd in voting for the Heisman. They dont hand those out to just anybody. He is a game changer at the MLB position.

He is extremely instinctive, a born leader and a big play maker. He + Washington would be a dream team MLB duo.

I seen a couple of his games and like what I saw. He has produce without major injury. He can catch the ball out of the backfield and does a decent job of picking up the blitz. A little wiggle is all you need. I am not a big fan of RB who dance through the hole.

I would go with Okafor because I think the guy is seriously undervalued but I agree that it is a joke as well on how Teo has fallen...I would not be surprised though if he has actually not fallen in value with the teams and ends up being drafted in the first round.

Prediction -

At each point when we draft, the Cards will take someone each of us never seriously considered.

There's a built- in reason: At each point in the draft, there will be someone the Cards really like who will fall to them because other teams don't like him as much as we do.

It's just the way things are.

For example, we might really like Sylvester Williams but figure he'll be long gone at #38 and therefore gone & forgotten in our various mock drafts. But suddenly, there he is: Bam! There at 38, causing us to put our projected pick (Dashone Jones) back on the shelf.

You just never know who will drop down and it screws up every 7 round mock in recent memory.

Something tells me his stock will begin to boil the closer we get to draft day. He's got the size, speed stats & nastiness to justify a 2nd rd selection.

Eddie Lacy. The Cardinals need a run game and that's exactly what Lacy gives you. Plus, at 220 lbs, I feel like with proper training he could be an adequate pass blocker as well.

Not trying to rain on your parade, but IMO he's nothing special...just like the previous 2 guys before him. Big, strong & powerful but not enough wiggle for the NFL game IMO.
