With the 7th overall pick, Toronto selects a relocation to Las Vegas. :p

Actually, I'll have to think about this one. But they at least seem set at PF with Bosh.

I think they will take Vasquez. He is polished, has already played a number of years in Europe, and is a hard-nosed Center. Considering Araujo is a complete stiff they still have a gaping hole at big man.

Vasquez is a hard-nosed center? I thought it was debatable whether he was a hard-nosed forward. He is most often described as a smaller Gasol.

Eight different votes, I looked at George's team needs but it appears, I should try to at least keep the higher rated Prospects on board to choose from... Ike Diogu and Andray Blatche IMO wouldn't be a great fit here though.

I have no clue, who I'm voting for - although lately I voted right at end, to break up a tie, incase.

This is a little high for the remaining PG's, although Monta Ellis has talent... I had a lot of the Centers to Pick from. The BPA is a toss up, but Antoine Wright and Danny Granger are high on my board - I want to see who's a FA on team.

Bosh and Bonner are a decent F pair, along with Rose and Peterson at G/F and Altson isn't that bad. The Center position is probably where'd I chose from...

Hm Vasquez is a PF apparently , I was confused. I have heard that is isn't soft, though. He is supposedly physical and has a bit of a mean streak.

I think it is a real possibility they will go for Frye. I have always said I thought Araujo was just too slow to be more than a role player; but Frye could team with Bosh to give the Raptors a solid young front line to build around.

Sorry but Frye is just not a lottery pick material.

He isn't skilled enough and despite his great size and athleticism he is soft.

I think he may look like lottery material in these workouts, but ultimately I agree with you. At best I see him as a mediocre 4/5 in the NBA of course those players are so hard to come by at mediocre might be enough to deserve a lottery pick for a team desperate for size.

maybe i should just call babcock up and see who they would draft. my dad went to school with him so my dad wrote him a letter and then he called him back and they talked about the good old days and he ended with if you are ever in toronto give me a call and we'll set you up with tickets. maybe i could call him and say hey we are doing this mock draft and...

Based on his college play, I'd agree. However, his off season training has apparently done a lot to increase his strength.

BTW, I was shocked when Chris Kaman was drafted as early as he was a couple of years ago. I'm still not sure he was worth going so high, but he has been some help to the Clips. I think Frye is a better prospect.

Frye may be more mobile but Kaman was a much better post-player and rebounder so I disagree that Frye is a better prospect.

kaman was one of the very best players in college basketball the year he was drafted. If I remember correctly he carried his team to the sweet 16 or Elite 8 in the tournament.
