Oh yeah!

Let's do this. We need a place to laugh, cry, lament, yell, and most important of all, turn our frustrations on each other !

LOL, I kid, I kid.

But, here is the thread for the occasion. I am going home for the day, and getting ready.

Best wishes to everyone, hopefully all your players get drafted, and if not, the choices are acceptable.

Go Cardinals.

Mentioned the Bills have explored trading down this week earlier ... Among others that have: Raiders, Browns, Cardinals, Jets, Dolphins.

Now for the irresponsibly speculative portion of the day...

Disagree. I only want to spend first round picks on guys who will be with the team 20 years from now! :p

Jim Hart or Ernie McMillan?

Amazing how long guys stayed with the same team before free agency. Hart played 18 years. Larry Wilson 13 years. Bobby Joe Conrad 11 years. McMillan 14 years. Ken Gray 12 years. Irv Goode 10 years. Tom Banks 10 years. Jackie Smith 15 years. Jim Bakken 17 years. Roger Werhli 14 years. Mel Gray 12 years. Dan Dierdorf 13 years.

Jarvis Jones promised by the steelers to be taken at 17 and Manti promised to be taken by the bears. Tavon is #1 on bills board. Also Fisher is the #1 pick so some pieces falling into place. Many feel Geno will be an eagle.

How far up do you think the 49ers are going to move?

Ha. Jurecki just mentioned that the 49ers might be trading up to 3 (Raiders).

If I'm the whiners I'm climbing as high as I can. Their roster is plum stacked, late round picks won't even make a dent in that squad. Those picks would basically be wasted and those players would just be auditioning for other teams from frisco's training camp. They got 4 picks in between picks 31 and 74, they can basically move where ever they want to with the way teams are supposedly dying to trade down.

I heard one national radio host make that same statement a couple of years ago. If you have a solid roster and extra picks you should move up to take one of the playmakers available in round one if possible. Like you said the 4-7th round guys aren't making your roster.

Yamon, there aint a 100 dudes in this draft that can make that team, I mean full on suiting up and getting game time. 75 is probably pushing it too. But then you factor in the teams that will take guys that might bust, and some talent could be had in the 60's -70's. Everybody loves a good heart felt story of late rounders catching fire, but that aint the norm, especially for the freakin whiners who are deeper than the babble I impose on ASFN.

I'd move up as often as I could in this draft, and Harbaugh is smart enough to know who to go after. I'm waching that camp big time tonight.

The crowd is either way too sober or they just aren't excited about anybody in this Draft. :D It used to get loud in there.

Am I the only one slightly disappointed that Chance Warmack didn't come out munching on a turkey leg during the introductions?

the only exciting thing about this first round are going to be the trades just a bunch of linemen. At least tavon austin looks interested.

Gruden talking about Geno: "I've never seen a QB get two safetys in the same game."

Mr. Gruden, allow me to introduce you to John Skelton!

And this is the exact opposite of Arizona. Where there are 100 guys who could make our team. Which for me is why Saturday will be more interesting than tonight.

I think the eggos could go Tavon, Chip Kelly just loves that kind of speed and versatility.

I have a 7:40 softball game. So here's to hoping the Cards don't trade back into the first later on and I miss it.
