The early photo of the proposed stadium looks as though someone put it together with Tupperware, some combs and a lot of duct tape.

Someone on this board - I think it's Krang - has a much cooler looking rendition of the stadium as his avator. Maybe ASFN can appropriate it.

I think that it looks cool. I like stadiums that look completely different than all of the others.

They are both pictures of what the new stadium might look like and they are of the same conception, but Krang's is a picture of what it might look like at night, from above while the ASFN is a picture of what the stadium might look like during the day at ground level.

Hey Jeff,

Are you talking about the one on our frontpage, in the logo header?

If so, don't you think there could have been a slightly nicer way to point out that we need to update it than "ASFN mock up photo is lame looking"?

The message after mine (Krang's) has a cool version of the stadium under his name in the left hand column.

The rendition of the stadium in the main part of the message from az643dp that follows Krang's looks like some elementary school kid patched it together with Popsicle sticks and duct tape - I think that's the one ASFN uses for its main articles on the stadium.

The one that Krang has makes me proud to be a Cardinal fan. The duct tape one well...er...I'm still proud of being a Card fan...but it sure does look like it was put together by an architect who sniffs Super Glue.

No offense Mike but Ihave to agree with jeff the pic is "lame looking" and describes the way it looks perfectly.

Why be nice? When you can just let your honest opinion of what it looks like out? I dont really see how being honest is mean anyways?

Considering I'm married, I never seem to need a reason to come up with a lie :)

The lame artist's rendering stays until we get real photos of the real thing.

Since Bill Bidwill is on the hook for cost overruns, mark me down as the front runner who doesn't think this stadium saga is over.

I agree with you. Until the stadium is completed, the saga is not complete.

I really do believe the stadium will be completed though.

Heck, at this point, I don't care if it looks like an aluminum trailer.

It could have laundry on a clothesline out front, a few old cars on blocks...the cheerleaders could be smoking Marlboros with 9 kids in tow...hound dogs laying in the sun.

So long as it has shade, air-conditioning and armed-seats which prevents fat packer-fan from oozing over on my seat during the game, I'll be happy!
