Tonight’s game is still set for 6:30 pm first pitch. We will provide updates if there are any delays.

I went to the game. It started lightly raining in the 2nd inning. I could see my breath. I stayed until the Devils no-no was broken up in the 6th. ASU cruised 11-1 against a bad Gonzaga team.

Weekend sweep against a totally overmatched Gonzaga team. I have been to almost every home game the previous 3 seasons and this year is, by far, the best I’ve felt about the pitching during the Bloomquist era. We’re seeing the bullpen establish roles and the weekend starters are settling in. Hitting is picking up but this offense has not hit its stride yet.

Up next, a solo weekday non-conference game in Tucson then they open conference play against a good TCU team on the road. Currently sitting at 12-4, this week will give us a good idea where this team is really at.

I’m missing this weekend’s games due to a funeral out town but my son used the tickets and said place was packed as evidenced by the pic. ASU takes first game of the weekend series. Let’s continue to ruin the Kansas March
