ASU College World Series thread

Welp ASU plays Clemson today in the opener of the CWS in Omaha. The S. Carolina-Oklahoma game is currently in rain delay, so the ASU game may be delayed. Or perhaps they'd just cancel/re-schedule the 1st game at some point if the rain stops and play the ASU game as scheduled.

Anyway I figured we should have a one stop thread for the duration of the CWS and ASU hopefully capturing its first crown since 81, and the last one at Rosenblatt.

listened to this one on the radio - sounds like they came out pretty sloppy and then couldn't catch up

Wasted opportunity, unfortunately. I saw they had the bases loaded with no outs in the 7th, but came away with only a single run, for example.

I actually really like the way the CWS bracket works, but it is definitely a tough road back after the first loss, and then you have to win the first game of the semifinal.
