The 22nd ranked ASU Sun Devils travel to Boulder to face the Colorado Buffalos. The Buffalos, under new head coach Dan Hawkins, are off to an awful start - losing at home to I-AA Montana State, and to in-state rival Colorado State.

It's also the Meeting of Dirk and Dan, who coached together at Boise State.

I have a bad feeling about this game.

Under Koetter the devils are below average on the road, I hate to say it but an upset would not surprise me at all.

I am a CU fan....but I am not sure I can stomach this game. The past 6 or 7 games has destroyed CUs confidence and I don't see them getting it back this week.

The only exciting thing CU has going for it right now is Mason Crosby.....the field goal kicker is out of this world. He will hit a 70 yarder by the end of the year. CU should line up for a field goal every time they reach the 50....that is their best chance to score.

The only thing that keeps this game close is if Dirk does not want pile it on his friend Dan.

Gizmo speaks the truth. This kid is a phenom and should be a first rounder next year, IMO.

Hell, if Janikowski was a first rounder, Crosby should be top-10! ;)

Buffs 27

ASU should win a dominating fashion

If the Buffs score 27, Koetter should be tarred and feathered.

Lewis is back from his suspension. :fans: Hopefully he can put up some nice numbers for us. We needed another good reciever. Him, Burgess and Miller are a pretty nice trio and if Matt Jones can play football as good as he can baseball then we'll have 4.

Anyone have any news on Loren Howard. When we got him people on a football board were talking about how he could be one of the top DE's in the country but he's ALWAYS had injury problems. At the very least he'll give us another solid guy on the d-line for more depth.

Yeah, this offense is dominating Colorado, but we can't fricken score. Careless with the ball.

The Valley so low.
Lots of penalties, mixed concentration by Carpenter and others--not impressive. The defense was often good, but sometimes bone-headed; the running game sometimes looked ridiculously good--more the CU defense than us, but still a good aspect. We had some good luck, but so did they. We certainly have a higher talent level than in many past years; if we avoid too many mistakes we can beat some good teams, but not all in the Pac-10. Another year, another minor bowl. The problem is that Kotter isn't bad enough to fire, but can't sense or manage his team's emotional level....

Rudy has really taken a step back from last year.

He seems to have lost his confidence. In the first half he threw several bad passes and in the second half it was like he was afraid to throw the ball at all.

I hope this Sophmore slump doesen't last the whole year. But really you couldn't expect the guy to play as well as last year. 4-5 interceptions in a whole season would be incredible... he better step it up if they want to get to week 7 alive..

Couldnt really watch the game was pretty busy but a very nice showing by our defense to only hold them to 3 points hopefully they can do the same thing next week and we come away with a run. By the way I really like the way Asu is running the ball so far Kearin is a monster :) GO DEVILS
