I went back and reviewed some tweets. Perhaps Chris Karpman was responding to this tweet?

It does make more sense that he was responding to another tweet... otherwise, it was a pretty random (and strange) remark.

Yeah. Here is another tweet where Karpman was blocked by HBCU.

This all seems like the equivalent of MB and Keim firing everyone under them... Just a bandaid. They'll never fire the people responsible for the symptoms. IE. Themselves. Rinse and repeat.

If this is true those staffers should be fired too, for cause. I’m not defending Herm here though, because he should have been gone already.

Exactly and that stink should follow them for the rest of their careers--I would think that would make them practically unhireable (is that a word?).

ASU is apparently that delusional.

According to the The State Press, Herm Edwards is to take a 50% buyout of remaining salary.

The more little things I hear about the Herm tenure, the more disappointed I am in him and how he ran things. I really did have high hopes.

Things like practice habits and attention to details specifically seen it came to practices. Things like building the right culture and including the devils of previous years. All these little things slowly coming out really paints a picture of a program that never really had a chance.

Ya, he should have to sit out through any probationary period. Doesn't work that way I guess. Who knows, maybe he can help promote ASU somehow.

I guess this would be the best case scenario, but Herm gets a cool job while ASU awaits sanctions from the NCAA.

Edwards was the big winner that night, one year ago. He is getting more than $4 million in post-employment payments from ASU, despite breaking rules and leaving the program in shambles, and he got his old ESPN gig back too.
