Possibly. I hadn't even considered the COY option.

21st and 22nd in the polls. With the BYU loss, if the Sun Devils win out, they should be in line for the Championship game!

Tie Breaker break down.

The Arizona State scenario is getting interesting. Let's say Arizona State wins out, and Kansas upsets Colorado in Week 13. The Cyclones knock off Kansas State, and suddenly there would be a four-way tie among BYU, Colorado, Arizona State and Iowa State at 7-2.

The only head-to-head game between any of those teams is BYU vs. Arizona State. It would trickle down to the winning percentage against common opponents. Those four teams played UCF, Kansas, Kansas State and Utah.

Arizona State is 4-0 against those teams. BYU is 3-1, and Iowa State would be 3-1 with a sweep. Colorado would be 2-2 and out of the mix. The next step would be the combined conference winning percentage of BYU and Iowa State's conference opponents. Right now, that favors Iowa State (28-35, .444) over BYU (24-39, .381)

I know there is some algorithm that spurs these numbers out but, even though I am ecstatic about what is happening this season, I believe these odds for ASU are off on the high side. Beat BYU and maybe you’re onto something

This Tyson thing has been building all year. I really feel like Saturday was his coming out party. Huge game. His fumble was unfortunate and started to lead to a bad turn but the team bounced back. He will learn from that fumble and become a better player.

As several have mentioned here, keeping Tyson has got to be a top priority. Finding complimentary WRs who can actually get open is a must. Going from memory I can only recall 1 target to Stovall and maybe 2 targets to Gillory. If that is true that is not successful situation.

Sam Leavitt's dad says he is here to stay. I hope this proves true.

Really nice to hear but it’s just talk at the end of the day. Leavitt will leave if chooses to and has already transferred once so it’s not like he was loyal to the first program. I suspect this is different this time but these days who knows given all the tampering going on.

My guess is Leavitt stays it, if ASU can provide similar NIL benefits, a winning program plus a bowl game. Kenny Dillingham has completely changed the environment at ASU.

Of course, ASU needs to keep Kenny Dillingham.
