Per Rivals and Scout we got a commitment from Nick Foles just hours after Dirk Koetter called him to offer. per some Texas publications he is the #1 QB in Central Texas. I believe that Drew Brees also came from Austin Westlake.

Why does he have a position rating of one out of five stars? Has scout not finished ranking the class of 2007?

They have not done their rankings. They will do that around July.

he lead Westlake to a 9-1 record in Austin! We are pulling him right out of Longhorn country.

Sounds like a great pickup to me...It seams like DK is recruiting a different type of qb at ASU, than he did at Boise State...Maybe I'm wrong? Out of the qb's that DK has recruited, most of them seem to be huge pocket passers, while DK had his most success at Boise State with scramblers(kinda like Carpenter)...

Furthermore, it will be interesting to see what Foles is ranked by scout/rivals, etc...Being an ASU recruit hasn't helped the star rankings of ASU players lately, but you'd think being an ASU QB recruit might help these days?
