Last year, Cornell used their size advantage to outmuscle the Devils over a two game weekend series. Not sure if Cornell still has that size but guessing they probably do.

Great win last night against a higher ranked conference foe. Homer made some seriously incredible saves. Admittedly, the goal he gave up felt a little soft (shorthanded too) but that’ll happen sometimes.

ASU looked slower than NoDak but they played a disciplined defensive game and never got out of sorts. Penalty kill unit did a great job against a pretty strong power play unit. The shorthand goal they gave up was one of the few really bad mistakes that Homer didn’t bail his defense out.

Side note: it was a nationally televised game last night so people had an opportunity to see ASU hockey that wouldn’t normally be able to do so. The boys put a good product out there against a quality opponent.

Horrible way to lose that game. ASU was flat and undisciplined. I know it happens but bad timing for that.

Nice win tonight against a quality opponent. To make the tournament they gotta keep winning and remove any doubt. Heading into this game they had a 45% chance of making the tournament.

I don’t think they were particularly sharp early on but they picked it up in the 2nd period and went on a scoring rampage

My understanding is top 10 in PairWise rankings party much guarantees you are in postseason tournament. I don’t exactly understand how those rankings work and have never bothered looking it up.

A win tonight would be huge. St Cloud St is a quality opponent

This one got dicey late but we finally put in an empty netter. Top of the conference!
