The challenges continue for the Sun Devils in the first year of the Graham Era.

Sutton is supposed to play, but won't be at full speed, and ASU has other injury issues.

Oregon State's star corner is out, which helps.

Interestingly, Vaz will start over Mannion for OSU at QB. Mannion tried coming back from his injury last week, but was just horrible. Starting Vaz is a big plus for OSU as he was stellar in the start that he had after Mannion's injury.

And how will Kelly and ASU play in the rain?

This is going to be a a fascinating game.

The eternal optimist here:

ASU: 28
Beavs: 24

Graham today said Sutton has no pain. So there's that. They better get what they can out of Sutton because he's definitely gone after this year.

The sound of a blocked punt is one of those little things that makes football so fun.

[When it's your team doing the blocking, of course.]

Offense has been stagnant all night. Probably their weakest game all year so far.

I think the Sun Devils should make the change to Eubank although it is probably too late to help. Kelly missed an easy pass on that previous roll out pass play. He is just not on target. I think Eubank could see the field better.

Also it wouldn't hurt if the Sun Devils played something besides matador defense. Their defense is really bad.

I figured out the Suns Devils offensive woes. They have an offensive line worse than the Cardinals.

This team has slightly more discipline, but they still suck. Not enough talent. And frankly effort looks weak. Watch how many missed tackles and how often it's just a solo tackle, no gang tackling. That's a lack of desire and hustle. And this team gets severely outmuscled.
