Down to 1 starter, RT wasn't that good anyways so maybe Tello can step it up.

Some news that doesn't help: Right tackle Richard Tuitu'u has decided he won't play football this season. The 6-foot-4, 353-pound junior, a possible starter, played in 10 games last year, including the final nine. Erickson wouldn't call Tuitu'u's decision "a blow," but he acknowledged the offensive line's inexperience.

I was counting Tuitu'u's absence when I mentioned two returning starters. Lauvao and Fanaika both have starts under their belt, they just didn't start the season in the first 5.

This may be a little of topic but is this years recruiting class Ericksons first with ASU or did he have one last year?

It was his first from start to finish. His staff did clean up on Koetter's class when he was hired.

I actually thought Lauvao when on was better for the running game than Krula (who was basically a shell of himself due to injuries), of course Shawn was off and on a lot. Tuitu'u was one of the slowest tackles I had ever seen, he has horrible footwork, which caused him to false start at least 2 times a game. Quite honestly, he was out of his league at the D1 level. Not a huge loss.

Mao...Olson already injured. Maybe he should try Boniva.
Too bad, but not surprising. Remember he was one of the most coveted prospects coming off his LDS mission and could've gotten a ride at pretty much anywhere in the country? Bustola.

I'd have to say this probably knocks UCLA down towards the bottom of the conference. At starting QB the JUCO transfer they brought in has supposedly looked pretty bad and after him it's either a freshman or a terrible Osaar Rashaan. Arizona should be able to go to LA and get a win in September but with Mike Stoops you never know.

Wow, I just looked at UofA's schedule for the first time, there's a chance they could start the year 6-0. I don't think they will, but its certainly an easy start.

Arizona will probably be favored in their first six games, but as you said it's highly doubtful they win them all. The teams under Mike Stoops have been so schizophrenic I'm guessing they drop a game or two they have no business losing.
