I know it's just NAU, sorry DBAck Jon, but they're looking prtetty damn good.
I know it is just one game against an inferior opponent, but the makeover from the Erickson era seemed quite dramatic. Very few mistakes or penalties. They didn't "play down" to the level of the opponent or take plays off. And didn't take the foot off the gas. Very impressive.
Anybody going to the game?
I went to the game last night.
It's probably a good thing that game wasn't on over-the-air broadcast. FCC would've come down hard. That was obscene.
Do you have any better read now on how you think ASU will do this year?
Same here. Where did you sit?I went to the game last night.
For those of you unable to attend last night, here's the new (updated version of the old) intro video:

I dig it.
After hearing Petros go off about how ASU is going to finish last, I am officially rooting against every other PAC 12 team. And it sure was nice to see WSU lose last night.
Meh. Petros is mad because he's family friends with the Bercovici's. When it looked like Berc was the heir apparent he was all on ASU's bandwagon. Now that Berc is probably going to need to transfer, he hates ASU.
It's pretty transparent.
I realize Toledo is a much better team than NAU. But the number of penalties and turnovers by UofA last night compared to those by ASU v. NAU is striking. I think that says a lot about the coaching and discipline. It will be interesting to see how this trend develops.
