Glad we get to watch them. Almost wish we didn't. If the expected outcomes occur, ASU may be big dance done and UA still alive.

A loss today for ASU is absolutely not a bubble buster. We need to split this series, split with the southern california teams and beat both oregon schools. If this happens I think we are in. Loose one extra and we are gonna need a nice run in the pac-10 tourney.

Kid, with a current RPI of 75, we don't have too many more chances to improve on that and impress selectors.

I agree but if we finish 4-2, which my scenario would leave us at, ASU then finishes 20-10 and most likely a 3rd or 4th place finish depending which Washington school we beat. I have a hard time thinking ASU would be out finishing either 3rd or 4th in the pac-10 though. No doubt pac-10 gets 5 in this year. UCLA and STAN are locks that leaves the selection committee to pick three (I personally only think 5 pac-10 teams get in despite some talk of 6) out of UA, ASU, WSU, USC, UO, and CAL. I have a hard time thinking that if ASU beats out these team down the stretch to finish 3rd or even 4th they would be left out.

The good news, is a win in Washington and we set up pretty good for the rest of the season,...

What the Devils have going for them, is in all reality the top 6 teams form the Pac-10 will be dancing...

That means as long as Oregon/Cal keep losing (Cal has @Stanford, @UCLA, @USC, and Washingotn St. left, I am not worried about them, while Oregon is 6-8 and in all reality will probably lose to UCLA tommarrow, meaning they will be 6-9, with ASU, UofA, and @OSU left...

I never thought I would say this, but I have a funny feeling come the last game of the year I will be a HUGE UofA fan to beat Oregon, because that would probably put us in 6th positiuon and outside of the DANGEROUS play-in game in the first round...

All in all, I think ASU is in good postiion still, but needs a win BADLY tomarrow
