Let's see how this team responds from a devastating loss.

Series probables:

Tue: Dessens v Sheets

Wed: Johnson v Davis

Thu: Webb v Kinney

I try to NEVER count on a sweep but this would be a damn good time for a sweep through the Brewers before getting back home to square off against SD.

I notice that the D'backs are running the hit-and-run alot more lately.

If Finley and Alomar can start making things happen at the top of the batting order, we could indeed be thinking of a sweep.

CRAP!

I have this curse as to where I can never see Webb pitch! I'm going to the game today, but this was the only day I could go! :bang:

We need to crush these guys!

From a pitching matchup standpoint, on paper this one seems to be the most likely winner for the Brewers. Elmer needs to have a good outing. I like the Dbacks chances with Johnson and Webb following Dessens to at least win the series though.

I was just listening to Schulte on the way home from dropping my son off at a class and he said that in Milwaukee they are calling the the BrewerBacks...pretty clever.

I just hope the ex Dbacks don't have some big series to show the Dbacks what they gave up.

I like Scott Podsednik's game, he reminds me of a young Steve Finley....

Big strikeout by Elmer with the bases loaded. It's only 1-0. Let's start a rally.

Alomar got hit really hard. Ouch! It looks like Kata just might be playing for awhile because that looks like a bad injury for Alomar.

Gonzo is an idiot on the base path. Sexson crushed it but nice play by Sheets.

He got hit by a 95 mph fastball on his right hand. My guess is he's going to be out for a while (more than likely a few of his bones were broken).

Elmer just gave up a 2-run home run to Jenkins. Elmer is a 5-inning pitcher.
