This is what was postedDid anyone hear the sideline reporter at halftime after she talked with JG?
She asked when Kyler would be back and the response was Kyler has done everything JG has asked for and then...
JG then said "Kyler needs people to be direct with him and tough coaching,"
Why say that at this point? At halftime?
I don't know. I think they understand that Kyler presents the best opportunity to win now and win soon. But holding him out until he shows that his talent isn't going to earn him breaks from the expectations everyone is held to (including the ones the coaches hold themselves to) might be a "short-term pain for long-term gain" move.Wouldn’t all that fall in the “really don’t want him as their quarterback” category?
Agree. In one of his introductory interviews, Gannon talked about how he held his players responsible for hustling on every play in Philly and used Fletcher Cox as an example. It is probably a big reason he's our head coach.I don't know. I think they understand that Kyler presents the best opportunity to win now and win soon. Rookie draft pick last year and got hurt, IR'd for the season. Started this season still on IR and was finally activated a little over a week ago...waived on the 4th. He hasn't even had a chance to play...But his college ball was Illinois...and he played a ton in college, by the looks of things.A Center who hasn't played - like at all? He looks and sounds a little relieved.xc_hide_links_from_guests_guests_error_hide_media
Any updates on Hump & Hernandez?
Curious myselfAny updates on Hump & Hernandez?
He's still a limited player, but as you saw Sunday, much better than Tune who you called for.1-7 being considered okay and a good job all things considered is so Arizona - dude had decent pass protection - a legit run game - the play action that came with it and wide open wide receivers he couldn't get the ball to
He’ll have to get stronger for next season, normal i think for a first year player.xc_hide_links_from_guests_guests_error_hide_media
