Australian baseball player gunned down by three teens in Oklahoma

Christopher Lane, a 22-year-old college baseball player from Melbourne, Australia, was gunned down by three teenagers Friday afternoon.
Lane, who played baseball at East Central University in Ada, Okla., was leaving his girlfriend's house in Duncan, Okla. when three teenage boys spotted him.
According to police, Lane ran past the house where the three suspects, aged 15, 16 and 17, were gathered in a black vehicle.
"They followed him," Duncan police chief Danny Ford said. "They came up from behind, shot him in the back with a small caliber handgun and sped off."
Neighbors performed CPR on Lane before he was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead an hour later.
