Does anyone know the routine of how the team travels to away games?

1) What day do they start to fly?
2) Does the team charter an aircraft or just buys tickets for each person?
I do not think 300 pound lineman would fit on Southwest's 737 cattle class.
3) So do they fly on one plane altogether or charter like two for 70+ players and staff.
4) For the hotel is the whole team forced to have a roommate? Suites? or regular rooms? Same hotel?
5) What if a player says I can get to the game myself so he buys his own ticket, books his own room at another hotel.
6) Anyone know any hotels teh football players stay at during games?
7) Are family members like wives and kids allowed?
8) Is there a curfew or can players party out like on Saturday nights until 2-3 am.
9) After a game or night game do they immediately fly back or stay another day in the other team's city?
10) What about home games? Do players drive to the stadium or do they stay in a hotel or training facility then get bussed to the game?
11) Anyone think it would be possible to book the same hotel as the team during the away game?

Does anyone know the routine of how the team travels to away games?

1) What day do they start to fly? Typically the day prior to game day. However last year (maybe several years?) the Cardinals traveled to East Coast games on Fridays (two days prior to game day).
2) Does the team charter an aircraft or just buys tickets for each person? Charter
3) So do they fly on one plane altogether or charter like two for 70+ players and staff. One plane (737) would be large enough for the entire team.
4) For the hotel is the whole team forced to have a roommate? Suites? or regular rooms? Same hotel? Same hotel... don't know about room type.
5) What if a player says I can get to the game myself so he buys his own ticket, books his own room at another hotel. Doesn't happen, except in extenuating circumstances; for example - family emergency, death, etc.
6) Anyone know any hotels teh football players stay at during games? Depends upon team, city. I do know that the Steelers stayed in a hotel near 40th St. and Washington (don't remember the name of the hotel  ) in Phoenix during last seasons preseason game with the Cardinals.
7) Are family members like wives and kids allowed? No, this is a business trip.
8) Is there a curfew or can players party out like on Saturday nights until 2-3 am. Curfew. This is a business trip! There are team meetings and functions to attend while at the hotel.
9) After a game or night game do they immediately fly back or stay another day in the other team's city? Fly back, same day is typical.
10) What about home games? Do players drive to the stadium or do they stay in a hotel or training facility then get bussed to the game? I am guessing that it varies, depending upon circumstance, i.e. -how close to the stadium is the training facility.
11) Anyone think it would be possible to book the same hotel as the team during the away game? Sure, as long as there are rooms available. Probably not on the same floors as the team though.

When America West Airlines chartered the team around it was on one Boeing 757 aircraft. Enough payload and cargo space to carry equipment and players.

I think I heard that if you book travel to away games through the team you can get to stay at the same hotel
