The fact that we play in Detroit might be the best medicine to offer our ailing Cardinals right now. After three terrible losses this year, (non-show against Indy), (poor show against both Carolina and the 9ers at home), the negativity level on this board and the official site is at a VERY high level.
Not having to play in front of the home crowd might just give the Cards the opportunity to overcome an early mistake or two and still come back to win on the road. I feel right now, that those same mistakes made early at home would bring such a chorus of boos down from the crowd that the guys might just do a repeat of Monday night's performance.
Now, I am not saying that they will make early mistakes, nor am I wishing for them to do so. I just feel that if they do, the consequenses may not be nearly so badly felt if they are on the road this week. Let's get a good road win this week, then we can move on to the next game.
