Cool story...I got to go to Tampa in '08 and met Jimmy Conzelman Jr. He had his dad's ring. Somewhere there is a picture of me holding it.

I watched the Bears and Cards at Wrigley. Did not seem like something extraordinary but it sure does now. I lived in Highland Park about 25 minutes from Wrigley. Went to Lake Forest College about 35 minutes from Wrigley where the Bears worked out. They took over the Frat Houses on campus and of course had to bring in oversize beds and everything else. 99% of people living on the north side of Chicago or northern suburbs were all Bear fans. I was the odd ball because I moved to Chicago about the time Charlie Trippi arrived and he was my boyhood hero.
