Brian Gilmore has been HANDED the starting job once again this week.

If for no other reason, this is why I HATE the Cardinals coaching staff, and why the Cardinals absoloutely fricking SUCK.

HOW??????????

How can he be given the starting job week after week when he has shown nothing but that he can't catch and is a nonfactor out there.

This coaching staff has absolutely no balls and they should all be given the axe ASAP.

This team has won a measly 3 games this year (and they were all nailbiters, no dominating wins), and yet they have not switched up a frickin thing.

They would have only won 1 game if it wasn't for the injury to Emmit which FORCED them to play Marcell, (the lowly backup)

Well if this is the only way to get someone who can play on the field.....hmmmm........anybody willin' to go lay a unsuspecting cut block on Gilmore during warmups!

What does that post ahve to do with Kasper? I don't remember marshallrider riding Kasper's jock in the past. Maybe you've been "thinking" about Kasper a little more than you're telling us, Krang?

I agree with the original post's thrust. Gilmore doesn't even belong on an NFL bench, much less on an NFL LOS. It's beyond me why he continues to get the start and we pass up guys like Kevin Johnson.

The resident teenie booper Kasper fan club consists of Hix, Marshallrider, Harpo, and a few others.

He is obsessed with Gilmore starting over Kasper, and that's why I said my previous comments.

This is one hell of a loosing team--even the fans are going nuts over Gilmore as a starter and Coach Mac's decision to bench Kasper. However, I question Coach Mac's declared confience in Gilmore while he has Kasper dressed and siting on the bench.

I just get the feeling that Coach Mac has serious doubts about Gilmore, even though he keeps giving Gilmore the nod over Kasper every week.

Im not some sort of kasper lover per se. But if you honestly beleive or feel Gilmore deserves to start you are perhaps the most ignorant person on earth. Start Poole then. Somebody. How about Steve Bush at #1 wr? He would be better.

Frankly, I couldn't give a rat's posterior who starts. We need to lose the next few weeks, and neither of them (Kasper or Gilmore) would help us anyway.

I started this thread and the little joke about taking out gilmore during warmups was just that, a complete joke..........I was just bringing up the topic that the only way you lose a spot on this team is to listen it do to injury.

These coaches don't play people based on what they do on Sundays and that is why the Cardinals suck.

Gilmore has been praised all year by sullivan, has started almost every game, and has been given a contract extension.
WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He has 14 catches and a helluva lot of drops.

Make what you want out of it!

actually kasper would help a lot cause he will catch the ball. last week we came out and gilmore dropped a first down pass and that set the tone.

Hey guys, you all know that I like Kasper at WR, but that has nothing to do with the Gilmore threads. I would like one person to tell me why he is starting. He has done nothing this year. I'd rather have Poole out there. Kasper's name will probably continue to come up because he actually did contribute. Is there anyone out there who really thinks Gilmore deserves to start?(aside from Sully) If so I'd like to know your reasoning.

I will tell you this thebrain was one of the big Plummer bashers and now he feels Gilmore is a NFL WR. Jake was a hell've lot better than Blake, but I was quite glad to see him get out of AZ so I can watch him in the playoffs.

I only hope we are able to draft Manning next year so we can start over again but at least with Boldin, Shipp, and Manning we would have a good start.

does kasper have a contract beyond this season? I assumed he is long gone - but if he is under contract and we get a new coaching staff..he may get another shot in training camp next season. If he is not under contract....he will obviously play elsewhere next season. For whatever reason -which we will never know - the coaches do not like him...not sure if it is due to talent, poor practice, poor student or what...
