Positives:

* Totally kicked the Seahawks' butts in the 1st half---dominated them up front on defense. That goal line stand was as good as it gets---how about Rodney Gunter! Corey Peters! Calais Campbell! Markus Golden! Chandler Jones! Alex Okafor! Josh Mauro!

* David Johnson = 15 100+ yard games in a row (ties Barry Sanders)

* Carson Palmer's second totally clean game in a row---great TD pass to Nelson---great 50/50 pass to Johnson to set up the win

* Great game by ILB Sio Moore---who played Russell Wilson more effectively than any Cardinals' ILB has in the last 5 years. Plus, Moore stuffed a number of running plays.

* Cardinals' STs won over Seattle's! The blocked punt by Okafor! When was the last time we saw a blocked punt? Twice Wile flipped the field on them. The missed extra point with Bethel roaring in from the right for a potential block---could very much have influenced the hook.

* Palmer's amazing lob to Fitz---the throw to Fitz to set up the FG---the FG snap goes down to the last second, it beats the clock and Catanzaro booms it right through the uprights!

This game was the Cardinals' Super Bowl this year and they won in thrilling fashion, knocking Seattle out of the #2 (bye) seed and preventing them from going 8-0 at home.

After what they did to the Cardinals in Week 17 last year---this game was sweet payback, baby!

What a fight!

As for the negatives--- f the negatives---we know what they were---it's Christmas Eve and the Cardinals just gave us the win of the year, a win that tastes as good as any there ever was, save the playoff wins. Time to be merry! Our Cardinals fought like champs today! And boy oh boy did they prevail!

Merry Christmas to the BIRDGANG! YEAH, BABY!:newcards:

i liked sio moore today, far better then minter and bucannon but saying in 5 years our ILb were not able to be effective against wilson i disagree, especially with washington and dansby in 2013 in seattle, that was a huge defensive performance
great game but we give up many big plays in the 4th quarter, and our main weakness was brandon williams at cb position, this guy cant play there

brandon williams was drafted high just cause his coach at texans has connection with steve keim and praised a lot his work ethic, but is nowhere near to play cb2 in the nfl

Maybe sio Moore can compete with a rookie for Minter's job

All I know is Amos Jones just got his contract extended 11 years.

Which I dont agree with. 1 right does not make up for a season of wrongs. Keim must dump that guy the second the seasons over.

Gotta love this game. Sio Moore is a keeper. Where has this version of Carson Palmer been all year along with the defense. Best Christmas present I could have asked for.

Fully agree with your post Mitch.

CC is worth keeping just to watch him destroy the Seahawks O-line.

DJ is the real deal.

Fitz is so clutch it's scary.

PP needs to stop trying to cover the entire field and cover up for all the newbies playing in the secondary. He also needs to stop laying down like a QB when returning punts and kick offs. Dude is still a stud and thrilled he is a Card.

Palmer is the second best QB to ever play for the Cards. Lomax, Hart and Plummer all had their strengths but Carson is a mans man.

We really won despite playing backups at the majority of the positions. That's just.....man. Love it.

I also love that Palmer is 3-0 in Seattle as a Cardinal QB.

The last win that tasted to good was when we beat the Cowboys a few years ago due mainly to a blocked punt.

Always good to win in Seattle.

Good effort from the team. Young guys got some playing time, which I was happy to see. Hope they can get some experience at game speed to know what it takes to play in games.

Great post Mitch and a truly GREAT win!
Palmer did what he's been doing the entire second half of the season. The guy is as tough of a QB as there ever was.
DJ is great. Yea, I said it... in only his second season and first as a full time starter, he has proven that he is not a good RB, but one of the games GREAT backs... what a season for DJ!!
Sio Moore took full advantage of his oppty! Wow was he impressive!
It was so much fun watching our guys beat the crap out of Wilson!! I respect the guy and he is one of the games truly good guys, a la Fitz. But he plays for the bad guys and it never gets old beating them up! As BA said, "we've owned their oline for three straight years now"!!
Diche played but I never noticed him out there... kind of a bummer...
I thought this was one of Peterson's worst games of the season. He made some glaring, amateurish mistakes.
Do we think BA's public call-out of Bethel had an impact on Justin? Hmmmmm...
Wile was very effective as well!

Merry Christmas folks!

You mean the same game where they knocked Romo out and caused him to miss some games? The same fragile Romo that a few on here have been clamoring for, to come in and replace the weak-armed Palmer? Yeah, I remember that game too...lol I think the way Palmer played yesterday is just like he's been playing for the back half of the season. His new nickname should be Timex, because he takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'.
