40 - 9 Cardinals (see what I did there?)

Cardinals score five touchdowns, one field goal and a safety (CatMan hits on all of the extra points). 49ers get three field goals but are kept out of the end zone.

I hate threads like these...... Way too much overconfidence.

On the road..... In the division...... Niners 17 - Cards 14

Hmm. This will be a nail-biter. Players out with injuries will be a key factor.

If BA had some personal vendetta against Tomsolla (spel) I would be worried , but since he don't , he will call a great game and we will win easily like we should have against the Rams and Steelers .

To me, I can't see this one being close. SF has so many injuries and the Cards are such a good team. 38-13 Cards

44-9 Cards. Stadium nearly empty by start of 4th quarter. Jed York burned in effigy in the parking lot, several times over. 49ers message board in complete meltdown mode by final gun.

No disrespect to the Niners. Not being cocky at all, just stating a fact. The Cardinals are a WAY better team than the 9ers and this one wont be close barring some catastrophic series of events.

If we weren't all so gunshy about predicting the Cardinals winning we would look at this game objectively and come to the same conclusion.

We beat them 44-7 here and they were better then than they are now. Injuries have decimated them, they've traded players away and put guys on IR.

I'm not worried. We got this guys. :) These are NOT the same old Cardinals.

For the superstitions nonsense types, here is your anti hex.

I agree. On paper it is a blowout. However, on paper, Landry Jones would not have had his way with us. That's why they play the game.

Cards 37-17; too many weapons for reeling Niners. I do expect Boldin to do well.

We looked disinterested. Niners are a real bad team, no reason we shouldn't have blown them out.

I agree. Here's what I think happened yesterday.

The defense was pretty much solid the entire first half. So this is just about the offense.

They came out determined to run like Seattle did, and when it didn't work BA got pissed at the Oline. I mean we all were. It was ridiculous how dominated we were on the line of scrimmage during running plays today. Especially in the first half.

So BA being the stubborn guy he is decided to just keep running it. There was a moment on a drive where we passed a few times, got a couple of first downs and then BA was like ok, we got some momentum lets try this again...

3 runs, 3 stuffs, punt.

They cut to BA and he was just disgusted.

Not to mention the fact that the pitiful excuses for zebras we had out there were doing a freaking campy vaudeville act out there trying to figure out make sense of what was happening around them. There were bad calls everywhere, couple that with the fact that the 9ers were committing a ton of legitimate penalties, and couple that with the fact that the officials had to HUDDLE UP FOR EVERY FREAKING PENALTY and have a 4 minute meeting about what the hell was going on. Even literally asking; "What down is it?" at one point lol. All of that just kind of destroyed the momentum of both teams. I honestly believe that played a part in the disaster that was the 1st half by both teams. The biggest concern by far is the fact that we could not run the ball AT ALL against this team. That is worrisome going forward, to say the least.

Then they tried to open the offense back up and obviously it worked enough to win the game but by the time they tried to turn it on, the 9ers were all in with belief and we were in a fight and there was no getting out of it.

All in all it was ugly, but the Cardinals STILL showed the toughness to win an ugly game. They still drove the ball down and scored when they had to and the defense made a stop. So lots of bad things to fix, sounds like the defense is motivated to get better. Lets hope our guys heal fast and we can go kick the crap out of the Rams because Lord knows we OWE them one.

Go Cards!

I stated the game would be close for several reason, and the injuries on the DL and OL showed up... especially the defense, but I also said we would win :)
