“We are going to keep our options open,” said Graves in terms of a trade. “As we get in more intensified conversations with other clubs from this point on to the draft, we will determine if that is something that is attractive to us. “Rod is the Vice President of Football Operations,” stated Green in a press conference on Thursday to discuss the draft. “I am his head coach. Rod is the guy who Mr. Bidwill expects to be the final say on operations and everything involved in football. I am just a football coach but I think he and I work well together.”

Graves hoped to put the issue to rest and affirmed Green's comment by saying, “(The structure), that is the way it is, but the fact of the matter is we hired Dennis Green for a reason. We hired him based on the success he has, the vision he has and this organization is focused on trying to support that. As an organization, we are behind him. He has as much influence and as much to say about what we are doing and how we are going about it, and either way, it is not a heavy-handed affair. We are working together and we are proud of our relationship.”
