B. Wallace - beast on one end, liability on the other

The Detroit Pistons are not shooting well in the Eastern conference finals. However one of their biggest problems offensively is that the New Jersey Center is free to drop down away from Wallace because he is absolutely no threat offensively.

Because the Phoenix Suns center rotation is so weak I would love if Wallace was their starting center. However I would much rather have a player like Brad Miller who can shoot and pass the ball on offense. Please understand that I know the Phoenix Suns are not going to get either of these players. I'm only speaking hypothetically.

The difference between us and the Pistons is we have guys who CAN score. We NEED an intimidator at C. We could afford the luxury of a guy who could play defense like that. For years I have been dreaming of a Suns center who could just give us 10 points and 10 boards a game while being able to guard the other centers of the Western conference and throw in a couple blocked shots per game. That's all I ask!

First off I dont know about that, Billups and Rip can really light it up. I was just pointing out that they do have "guys who can score" therefor making your opinion on the difference between us and them pretty much invalid.

The offensive plan is a big difference in the ppg output. Remember earlier in the season when we had a half court motion offense and we scored in the low 80s? Well, Detroit never wanted to push the ball, or adjust to score more points, that is a big difference. Their roster is very capable of putting up big numbers, they just dont play that style.

About the "we play NJ better".....in the regular season the pistons won the series 2-1 were we tied it at 1 and 1. You cannot count the playoffs, since we never played them in the post season, so technically they play NJ better than we do
