No times outs from the 20 & a minute left. Talk about confidence in your QB. Wow

Even Wolf didn't think we should go for the win.

Palmers on a mission ladies & gents, enjoy the ride

Well, Wolf's an idiot. Any coach that doesn't think you at least try to move down the field for a FG in that situation should be fired. How could you NOT try? That's not big brass ones; that's Football 101.

The Bengals had a beat up secondary, the OL started blocking what seemed a tired Bengal DL... lovin' these pass slinging Cardinals :)

The whole world has gone mad with clock management lately.

College guys yesterday were making terrible decisions at the end of games, saw a couple today in pro games.

BA is the only one who coached the last minute of the game with any common sense. Thank goodness!

There was never any doubt that they'd go for it. With Palmer and our WR's it wouldn't make sense not to.

Though it was funny when the announcer said we should just give the ball to Ellington a couple times to start the drive. I just thought to myself "you must not be too familiar with BA if you think he is going to do that".

Scared money don't make money. And it is safe to say BA never coaches scared.

When you have THE BEST vertical passing team in the league you absolutely go for the win in a tie game, 1 minute left and with no timeouts.

Agree with most here. You go for it. Period. The only way you wouldn't is if you are a run/defensive team. With any kind of QB, you go for it.

Remember when Madden said the Pats should take a knee when the beat the Rams in the Super Bowl. He wouldn't shut up about it, kept carrying on and on, even while Brady was driving them down the field. Sadly, that's when I realized Madden was losing it.

And yes, saying that "even Wolfley" thought we should play for OT, is a meaningless argument.

Simply put, you take what they give you and they were giving us room to move down field. The key play of the drive was Fitz's catch and run and being able to get out of bounds. That saved mega time. All down hill after that.

Madden wasn't losing anything. He was a coach in a different era and was playing off of his experience.

wha? It was a no brainer as far as I was concerned that we were going to try and get into FG range. A minute is a TON of time to try and get a FG and with the way our D was playing, we needed to win that game RIGHT THEN because OT wasn't going to be pretty without PP and Rucker.

You pretty much made my point for me. An announcers job isn't to call it as if it was from his era, 25 years ago. It's to roll with the times.

Madden said some things towards the end that just made me scratch my head. As to going for it the thought they wouldn't never interred my mind.

Watch his post game speech. His first words were something along the lines of "that's why the game is 60 minutes".

What would have been brass balls, would be to call a pass play on the series before Cincy tied it up...instead of a 3 and out. Should have gone for the throat, there.

What impressed me most was how the Cardinals were managing the clock at the end after the completion to Fitz to get into FG range. Palmer took a knee on one snap and then was ready to spike the ball when they called the penalty on the Bengals.

They did throw on first down. Chris Johnson dropped it. The Cardinals have been good at moving the chains running the ball on third and short all year, but got stopped twice yesterday.

Great to have a coach that never lets his foot off the pedal.

I knew he was going to try and go for the FG. I thought everyone was thinking the same?
