BTW, I am not worried about the RFA status of Knight. Sounds like the Suns value as much or more than anyone else, and will pay him accordingly. He is a RFA so, whatever happens, the Suns are in control. Hopefully it will be a little less nerve racking than the Bledsoe thing last summer.

If Knight plays well for the remainder of the season I would not be surprised if the Suns do not offer him the max right off the bat.

In defense to McD, would you admit to making a stupid trade by saying "we traded our best player and got an above average player and a bunch of fill in guys?" I know I wouldn't. This maybe a way to make sure that Knight (and rest of the team) understands that the Suns are wanting to move forward with positive outlooks. Trust me, I am not saying McD/Suns made the right moves, but they are trying to make the best of it now..... IMO

???WHAT??? Wasn't prompted? For someone who posts any and everyones opinions on this board, they were certainly prompted by the media and some "fans" accusation that they gave away the best player. Some of us disagree and clearly so does he. There is nothing wrong with his saying they got the best of the deal. Most deals are done because the team believes they are getting the better end. Dragic has shown himself to be a petty drama queen, apparently his fans are much the same.

I will say I think it's funny that some have got their panties in a bunch over that comment. Earlier in the press conference McD was asked why he believed Knight would be a good match with Bledsoe in the backcourt and went on to say because of his character and maturity. That was certainly a slight at Dragic and maybe IT, yet nobody said a thing about that comment. They are only upset because McD thinks they got the better player. An opinion I share.

Who cares? Every team hypes up their own acquisitions and saying Knight, with his stats and his age is the best player involved in the days deals is hardly an outlandish statement.

Over the many years I've seen some Suns players over rated by the fans here, but none more than Dragic. No wonder his head got so enormous. His fans seem to think it's been Dragic and 4 card board cutouts on the floor and he apparently grew to agree. Good riddance to him and that nonsense.

What little I've seen of Brandon Knight has been impressive. Good thing we still have Keef, Len and Archie. They better gel quick to make the playoffs!

Too bad IT left, I liked him, but I actually dreamt of Dragic last night!
