Glenn Close Can Hold 42 Baby Carrots In Her Mouth

Glenn Close proved to be a real big mouth during a recent TV appearance - after she was challenged to see how many baby carrots she could fit into her mouth.

The veteran actress showed off a photograph of her daughter Annie with a mouthful of carrots while she was being interviewed by Jimmy Fallon during his Late Night show on U.S. TV on Tuesday.

Close explained to the host the picture was taken after her family decided to hold an impromptu competition at the dinner table.

She said: "There's always a contest going on (at our house). We were having dinner and there's a lot of carrots around and we said, 'Let's just see who can fit the most carrots into their mouth.' And Annie won - she fit 42 carrots."

Fallon then stunned the Fatal Attraction star by revealing a giant bowl of carrots from under his desk - and challenging her to another round of carrot fun.

But their TV showdown wasn't even a close call - Fallon erupted into fits of giggles as a victorious Close expertly tucked the veggies beneath her tongue.

Oh, I'm learning, I'm learning... from your links and none other but the FDA itself is saying what I said... rinse with water and eat:

And if you want loads of chemicals and bleach in you... be my guest.

Of course no one wants "loads" of chemicals. That's just it, it isn't "loads" that are being applied. What harms a germ is harmless to you. That's the advantage of having about a trillion more cells.

It adds up, aj... the body fights these "unwanted" chemicals but there is a threshold for it which is different for different people after which the body starts to break down. With the level of processing that is going on these days, the intake of artificial thing s is quite a bit.

I'm having some health issues and working with my homeopath to identify and correct some of these things.

I hope you get to the bottom of what is bothering you and get better.

There's all sorts of crap in our blood. The stuff that concerns me are PCBs, PCTs and DDT. And, there are literally dozens of other synthetics in our blood from things like plastic and fire-proofing, etc. To me, those are the things that are far more worrisome. At least chlorine is a normal ion in our blood plasma. Even if you had never touched a drop of chlorinated water in your entire life you would still have a lot of chlorine in your blood. In the form of chloride which is two chlorine atoms combined.
