Other then the Cardinals doing there usual pathetic effort vs Lions, I had a great time on my weekend in Michigan which included seeing the Indiana at Michigan college game on Saturday and the Cardinals at Lions game on Sunday.

Pictured from left to right are myself, Seth Goldberg (of CardinalsNest.com), and ASFNers AZCards021 and AZWins23.

That guy still has the coolest hat this side of Morgan Freeman.
(that's not a reference to any of Mr. Freeman's hats, I just think as an actor, he is the cat's pajamas. This in turn allows you better insight into my appreciation of this Cardinal's Nest guys hat.)

I was there to I actually seen alot of Arizona fans I was quite surprised, the Lions fans were actually nice to me they would mess with me a little bit when the lions scored I would just kinda stare. then when they got the safety this guy wanted to clap my hand and stuff i was like oh great but they were asking me like where all the players from the cardinals went to college and who my favorite player was and what I felt was wrong with the team so we actually had a decent conversation which was cool.
But let me tell you its not the greatest feeling sitting around fans of the team who is beating your team but it was still fun to go see the cardinals to bad they couldnt stop Harrington of all people... yuck
or as the lions fans called him Jodie Harrington

Mine does. But only the tops. After one night of shame we both agreed I'd no longer try to fit it for bottoms.

If you check out Seth's site, he's been to 20+ Cards games, but not a single home game. thats pretty crazy. Plus, sad since they never freaking win on the road!

I was there also.I only saw 2 other Card fans,a girl with a Boldin jersey and a guy with a Fitz jersey but it wasen't you AzWins23.I was on the Lions side of the stadium & tried to get the attention of the O line while they were doing pregame warm ups but failed. Not one Lion fan said a word to me,& I was wearing a #93 jersey.I thought the Lion fans were very apathetic & it was no where near as loud as I thought it would be.I've heard it much louder at Sun Devil. My same $27 end zone seats are $62 at Ford Field but I know thats gonna change.

Hello again!

It was great meeting you guys at the game in Detroit. Looking forward to rounding up the group for more games in 2006. . . with hopefully a better outcome on the scoreboard. There were some rough Lions fans in my section giving me a hard time, but the few who stayed until the end became increasingly quiet, certainly soiling their underpants as the score tightened.

Yes, it's true that the Cardinals seem to always lose when I show up, a fact not lost upon some of the Cardinals players. Last year I went to five road games, all losses, and by the fifth one, the players would roll their eyes during pre-game warmups as they spotted me in the stands. After last week's game, center Nick Leckey told me that I should stay home and watch these games on dish, so I felt compelled to remind him that his record isn't much better when I don't show up. Well, since I don't believe in curses, I fully intend to make an appearance at the Edward Jones Dome this week and later in Indy for the finale. I know some of the regulars here will be in St. Louis -- not sure who will make the trip to Indy though.

I'm kinda thinking the only people that can change your record are the players. At least they should applaude the effort.

Wow, I cannot believe you guys have not been to a game here in AZ!! I mean, it sure beats the cold weather road trips in Nov/Dec and it's not like tickets are hard go come by.
