Going offense assuming Kyler goes #1 to us:

Focus was on WR, OL
Value picks: TE, RB, CB

Might be a defense heavy draft. Not sure I totally align with that but I do understand why folks may lean that way. There is talent. But in our case our team is so offensive deficient, it needs an injection of Offensive Talent. I was just curious what it might look like based on each round’s availability. Not sure I would actually take that approach, but I didn’t dislike it either.

QB of the future

WR is deep with young talent

Guard understudy also a teammate of the new QB

CB is deep with young talent. Long has a chance of being a slot CB soon.

Safety depth with a versatile plate

DL depth from a school that produces great prospects at his position.

For the most part other than OT. QB, CB WR are the hardest positions to learn all have a high bust rate as well.

Drafting all 3 positions in year one so they all learn together all the lumps at the same time. Cards have another year of losing another year with a high draft picks.

With those picks along with the last two drafts, Cards will be a playoff contender in 2020

I think its best to draft young QB and young CB together it is hard to compete in games if those spots make ROOKIE MISTAKES.

I will try to post two more today, and to be a sport.....do one where we draft Kyler Murray....:help:

The Murray one would be hard to do, because I would HOPE Rosen would be traded as well....but I can only work with what I got.
