bad calls in game 3

Esther, you are right about most of those calls/no calls in Game 3. However 1) I disagree with your assessment of the supposed 24 second clock violation and 2) as others have pointed out Mavericks fans could probably find just as many issues that went the other way.

Even though I'm a diehard Phoenix Suns fan who's found himself complaining about the referees during the game more and more, I can't remember saying, "we got away with one there," as many times during a game as I did during Game 3. At least it's been quite awhile. Nowitzki got away with a lot of traveling. So did the Phoenix Suns.

Every time a player on the Phoenix Suns sets a pick I'm cringing waiting for the referee to blow the whistle. They could do it all game long. Nash and especially Barbosa carry the ball constantly through the games.

It goes both ways.

Every team can complain about some call. Basketball is a very tough game to referee!! Plus the Suns are not playing the Lakers or Clippers this series. I think the Mavs have a lot to do with how these games are going!!

Any Phoenix Suns fan who felt screwed by the referees in this series better not say anything after tonight. A couple calls went against the Suns, but overall they were the benefactor of the officiating tonight.

I agree, and I noted a few times in the chat that the Suns were getting a lot of calls and getting away with some fouls that should've been called. Overall I'd say it was pretty even and the # of foul calls and fts were actually pretty even as well with Suns 23 fouls, Mavs 22 and Suns 21fts, Mavs 22fts.
