Almost every rule from the last twenty years is team specific.
How many times did the refs make a crap call to protect Tom Brady...then in the off season the league makes a rule to justify it.
It used to be illegal for any player to assist the ball carrier to advance. They should go back to that.
The second part I can agree with, but, as much as Brady got favorable calls, I think the rule changes about protecting quarterbacks was league wide, not team specific... for one, Brady had only one severe injury in his entire career, and the most famous call in his career, the "tuck rule" was actually revised to go against the old rule.
There are "superstar" calls, where refs show bias and give big names the benefit of the doubt, you have seen that with Brady, you see that all the time now with Mahomes, but that is different than actually changing the rule.
If it's "unfair" to tush push, then more teams should do it. If only a couple teams are, then I don't think a rule change is warranted.
