Wow Marcus banks negatively affected the team than much.

Just think without Marcus Banks the Suns might have won 80 games!

Simmons is pretty funny and entertaining, he would make a great village idiot.

I think I understand his point, which is what if the Suns had stuck with Rajon Rondo -- a Sports Guy fav -- instead of trading picks and signing Banks.

And I guess that point is it would be much easier to unload Rondo, his 41% FG percentage, and rookie salary than Banks'.

But least valuable? I think he just has something against Marcus to single him out.

Bonzi Wells is more valuable?

No, [KT]'s not a great NBA athlete. If he were, he would be making more than the MLE.
He *is* making more than the MLE - 43% more. He's making $7.35M this year and is due over $8M next year, assuming he picks up his player option. The MLE was worth $5.125M this year.

OK, a mid-level type contract. Point being, if he was more athletic, he'd be a starter or the first guy off the bench.

I mentioned that in my first post. Sports Guy hates Banks because he's a former Celtic. Sports Guy hated Banks as a Celtic, and like a true Boston fan, the hate carries into eternity. Sports Guy has mentioned this at least 15 times since Banks left Boston. Sports Guy is going to be in heaven telling Banks what a waste of money he was.

Overpriced, mistake by the Suns, doesn't fit in the system, whatever.

Least valuable, as in negative value, a detriment to the team, I don't agree.

Here is a crazy idea for Suns management.

Don't trade players when their value is at an all-time low. Banks value can only improve.. don't trade him he is cheap anyway.
What did the Suns expect? That he suddenly turns into a poor man's Steve Nash?

Imo Banks will show he can add something to this team if D'antoni figures out how or is forced to play him. We could really use him against Tony Parker, Baron Davis etc..

He was a bit of a project to begin with, why is nobody willing to give it some time? It's rare that PGs fit in with a team right away especially when they are totally different from your starting PG. Odds are that no PG in the draft could give Nash rest even after his rookie season.

That makes no sense if you are over the cap like the Suns. I am pretty sure they need to move some cap space, so do you move Stoudemire, Marion? over Banks?

Banks didn't have to be Nash, but he certainly shouldn't be a poor man's Stephon Marbury.

I think you're being very generous to Banks - he's more like the homeless man's Stephon Marbury.

I don't know if this was posted or not, but i just died laughing.

57. Manu Ginobili
We're dropping him 25 spots for his ongoing refusal to switch to an Andy Garcia-esque crew cut or use shoe polish for the back of his head. Doesn't he know these games are being televised in HD? How many fantasy teams need to be named "Manu's Bald Spot" before he does something about it?
