This guy is a head case, I am tired of his confidence swinging back and forth like so widely
- 3-15 shooting
- no defense, over pursuit of the pass lanes
- can't run the offense gets into a one on one Stephon Marbury game ever time.

He is terrified once again missed two shots and his confidence swings drastically.

I truly believe he and his fear of failure is the sole reason the suns lost this game in the 4th.

He is lucky he isn't a football player for Brazil becaue they put bullets in players like him. Maybe this is why he is so scared.

Here's how the next letter Dan Dantoni's writes to him should go:
Dear leandro, you are a puss, stop wetting the bed and grow a pair and play like a man.
Signed Dan

Yeah I knew contrary to seemingly everyone elses opinion, that losing bell would be bad for us but with barbosa stuck with the suger plum fairys it is even worse.

Figures josh howard comes back and has a great game, this injury crap is now really getting on my nerves when something like that happends.

Mike D'Antoni is a great coach, but I really think he made a mistake down the stretch not having James Jones in the game instead of Barbosa. Even though he struggling with his shot , Jones' hustle and defense have been big for the Suns.

I was hoping Barbosa to hit that 3pt with 30s left. That could have pulled the game to within 2pt and the game will be so different. That was an open 3pt.

Oh well, I am sure he'll bounce back.

Because the guy went 3-15 and didn't play well, it doesn't mean that he is a headcase. We didn't hit shots towards the end. Big deal. We did what we needed to do and split in Dallas. Let's move on to game 3. What happened to the committment to not having mood swings back and forth on this board? Very lame thread treesquid.

I'm with you Joe. Jones played fantastic today, maybe not offensively but he brings so much more to the table. His energy, length and enthusiasm really helps the team defensively. He had what, 5 block shots? He's not the best on ball defender but he's arguably the smartest team defender we have (Bell is really the only other candidate).

Also I think House should have gotten more minutes in lieu of Barbosa. He nailed a couple jumpers and for the most part played within himself.

The guy combined for 48 points in games 6 and 7 against the Lakers and here we are dissing him because he had a bad night. I know lots of players that had a bad game during these playoffs. But the past doesn't equal the future.

Barbosa gaurding Howard is not the same as Barbosa gaurding Bryant. Kobe, unlike Howard, can score at will. He is more of an offensive weapon than Howard and frankly the best player in the league in terms of scoring.

I'm looking forward to seeing more minutes from JR, however. I would actually look to start him to help the Suns get some defensive stops in the first quarter and get some fast break baskets.

We can pin the loss on everything that happened in the last few minutes of the game, but it really goes back to the first quarter. The Suns only scored 17 in the first. Sure, they came back and scored 35 in the second, but D'Antoni's philisophy is the game is pretty much won in the first half, if not the first quarter. That's why the PHX needs to set the tempo at the start of the game, rather than trade baskets and pray for a late rally.

LB needs to adapt to the new combat zones. He tried a couple of times to shoot the mid-short range bankers but missed. That was a good strategy. He just needs to hit them next game to lure Dirk out of the paint. Well, his defense is still just boneheaded, but we need him down the stretch so coach's decision is ok to let him in there longer than his on-court performance merited.

Yes, JJ was a great husle player. We should get him more minutes.

My vote for the loss goes to Nash.

He doesnt look to score but he is very good at it when he wants to be. The Suns needed help at times in the second half and he took ONE shot in the second half...

Also Marion was bad on D today.

I Agree. If we use the same logic in complaining about Barbosa, then technically it's Tim Thomas's fault becuase he missed a few threes at the end.

RedStripe, I would never commit to something like that.

No question Barbosa and TT were the goats of game 2.

On the other hand, the Suns would be done already if it weren't for both of them, and with Barbosa in particular, he's developed a pattern of improving as a series wears on. Most of all, the Suns don't have much choice but to ride them out, so why complain?

Joe, my guess is that James Jones wasn't in because the "four forwards" lineup was so horrible in the games Raja and Steve missed at the end of the season. They were hemorrhaging points on defense and didn't have enough shooting to keep up at the other end.

IIRC, the Suns had JR at SG for a few minutes in game 2, and they did a better job. Whether that was meaningful, I have no idea.
