Yes, he did get hurt. At first they thought it might be serious like a cracked sternum, but I think now they are calling a bruised ribs. It's been kind of unclear to me. It doesn't sound like he will play tonight though.

yea bruised ribs really hurt. i have had both bruised ribs and broken ribs and i think i would go with the broken ribs first over bruised. the bruised hurt so bad that i had a hard time breathing for a week. heck sleep, walking, eating, driving almost everything was painful. word of advice never trying waterskiing 3 weeks after you bruise your ribs it just starts the pain all over again. :(

try cracking a rib then trying to play football in new england, in november, in the snow, with a flack-jacket on. how much pain? don't answer yet! now throw in playing with that flack-jacket and cracked rib with a dislocated shoulder and a shoulder strap so that you can't raise your arm above 90 degrees. now how much pain would you be in playing? well, don't answer yet, 'cuz then you get throw about 2,000 lbs of football players on the side of your leg and shatter your kneecap, rupture your acl, tear your mcl, damage the both connecting bones, and do immeasurable damage to your knee's cartilidge. NOW how much pain do you think you'd be in?

yep, that was a string of 4 weeks. lying at the bottom of that pile of MY OWN teammates (it was just pre-game walk-through when my knee exploded) with both the flack-jacket on and the shoulder strap holding my arm down was fun, FUN, FUNNNN!!!!

if he's got bruised ribs, wrap 'im up and throw his ass on the floor. he's gettin' paid.

Did you play well under those conditions? If not, why hurt your team by being on the field?

i was the best!

we're undermanned as it is. we need bodies.

really, i was kidding. i think they whole squad should go on IR this year, tank the season, lock up the #1, package it with marion and land us a premier SG (mcgrady or kobe if he's found "not as guilty as we all know he is").
