If somebody signed me to a $9 mil contract, there is no way I would walk away from it. D'Antoni earned that contract and it is perfectly ethical, dignified and self-respecting for him to collect it.

The way I see it, 9 million IS a lot of money. If your bosses want you to teach the team some defense, etc., suck it up and do it! They are paying you $9 million dollars! That gives them the right to give you some constructive criticism. Who on this board would pay an employee $9 million dollars and not say something when they thought that employee was doing something wrong?
