Cubs tickets go on sale on 23 Feb for single games. Prices range from $17 for a game to $67. Surprisingly you are very limited as to the number of tickets you can buy per order. I guess they will be close to sold out on season tickets. With the new RF seats they can now seat around 41000-42000. New ticket prices will help pay for the $315,000,000 they have committed for new free agents already signed. They have totally changed the way they do business and are spending money like they have a printing press (pun-The Tribune). Brought in a new President of the Cubs and a new Manager in Lou Pinella. They are now negotiating with Carlos Zambrano who is only 28 and one of the best pitchers in all of base ball. He is asking for $15 or $17 mil a year in arbitration. They are trying work out a long term deal which I am confidant they will do at a record breaking $$$ deal.
Hope the Cards are ready to go big after FA's.
Baseball is where the really really big $$$ is and you do not get hit by 280 lb linebackers every week.
