Mar. 20—MANKATO — Lake City graduate and Minnesota State University, Mankato junior guard Natalie Bremer has been named honorable-mention WBCA Division II All-American for her standout season in 2024-25.
Bremer, who led her team to the NCAA Tournament where it lost in the Central Region Tournament 94-91 to top-seeded Pittsburg State, averaged 20 points, 5 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 2.7 steals this season. She did it while shooting a sizzling 48% from the field, 40% on 3-pointers and 80% from the free-throw line.
Bremer finished the season with 17 20-point performances and was in the 30s twice. Her 641 points this season ranks fourth best all-time at Minnesota State, Mankato.
The 5-foot-11 standout moved into fourth place all-time at Minnesota State with 1,673 points. In the team's season-ending loss to Pittsburg State, Bremer had 26 points, 8 rebounds and 3 steals.
Bremer was named to the All-Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference first team for the second consecutive season.
Minnesota State, which also includes Goodhue 2024 graduate Elisabeth Gadient, finished its season 25-8 and 18-4 in the NSIC.
