Been in Arizona for 46 years and had missed this treasure until yesterday. Outstanding for what it does.
You pay your money then take an extended drive through different areas and see bears, buffalo, big horn sheep, and a lot of other critters . Then you park your car and there's a number of other animals that you can see up close including 3 grizzly bears at a distance of about 4 feet while they are being fed. Got the other expected amenities (gift shops, food stands, and a restaurant) and activities including a bird and animal show, and feeding some otters.
It isn't Disney World, but it's not intended to be. It's a nice easy day with the animals. Very, very enjoyable. Note for us animal lovers: It appears that the animals are very well treated and taken care of.
Tip: go in the morning on a weekday.
