To those of you that are lucky enough to be going to the game this Sunday what is your local beer of choice?

Also, while in town you have to sample a Primanti Bros. sandwich on the strip or at the game.

Good grief! Is this punishment for something? I choose dehydration.

Bite your tongue! I.C. isn't very good, but at least it's a Pittsburgh tradition. Rolling Rock isn't my favorite, but piss water it ain't.

Ah, well, it's all moot anyway. American beer is like having sex in a canoe...It's f-ing close to water! :D Guinness Stout on tap induces nirvana.

Sorry, Skkorp, but I had to use the f-ing reference for THAT!

There's a place in New York City called the Temple of Beer Worship, I think it's still around. It's in an old church, and all the staff dress up like monks. THey have a three-fold menu full of beers ranging from $3.00 to $90.00. Hands down one of the coolest bars I've ever been to. They had some peach beer from I think Prague, I can't remember the name but the taste was one of a kind.

If you're going to the 'burgh you have to try their beer, that's part of the fun. Don't knock I.C. that river water isn't that bad.

Does anyone remember Yacht Club Beer? It was made from the sparkling waters of Lake Erie. Now that was a bad beer.

Rolling Rock isn't bad. IC, and worse IC Light, is the bottom of the bottom of the barrel.

Definitely a thumbs up on the Primanti's sandwich, but you need to go to the location in the Strip District. Much more colorful atmosphere.

Well I think that Red White and Blue that PBR made really sucks.
You drink to much and they drape the flag over you .

Never heard of it, but Mad Anthony's is some good Erie brew.

I always prefered some Genesse myself, or Schmidt's

BTW Kohler was the greatest beer, too bad they closed down.

Iron poopy we used to call it!

Rolling Rock - passable if you really don't feel like drinking.

Yeungling - good beer. I prefer the lager. Made in Pottsville, home of the NFL Maroons!

And of course in this thread, I have to be a homer and mention:

Straubs' - Beer in all it's Glory! No syrups, sugars or preservatives. You either love it or hate it!

How about a Stroh's from the motor Cty or a nice cold Black Label? Worst ever is Pearl from San Antonio. I think it cost 69c a six pack.

You can't buy Rolling Rock in Arizona and expect it to be any good!

Exposure to heat and moreso exposure to sunlight - accelerated because of the green bottles. Turns "skunky" very quickly. National brands, such as Miller, are not impacted by exposure as much because they have breweries located regionally throughout the U.S.

Even more importantly Rolling Rock has never been as good since it was bought-out by one of the large Canadian manufacturers, Molsen or Labatt's, I think.
